Regina & Doug

Wedding Date: August 20, 2016

When Doug popped the question last summer in Cancun, we knew a beach wedding was exactly what we both wanted. We selected the beautiful Iberostar Grand Rose Hall for our destination wedding in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

I really can't say another word without thanking our photographer, Alan. More on that in a bit. Click on any of the photos below to see them full size.

The night before the wedding our guests gathered together for a private beach bonfire, with music by a local Mento band.

After a sunset ceremony, we joined our guests in the Outdoor Pavilion for cocktail hour.

Our first dance was to Jimmy Somerville's version of  "To Love Somebody

Cocktail hour music by a local Steel Drum band

We had to jump in there! It was *not* like playing the timpani as I remembered from high school.

We adored this custom cake topper from etsy! While Dundee, Sprocket and Leonidas couldn't be in MoBay with us, they were there in spirit.

We are grateful to friends and family who went above and beyond and joined us in Montego Bay for the weekend. We also thank everyone who celebrated with us via Facebook Live from all over the USA (and even the UK)!
Lastly, as an event planner I've worked with many vendors that I grew to like, and they became "friendors." Some, I eventually grew to love as best of friends. There are no words to express our gratitude to Alan and Stacy, who were by our side to make us look our best, and capture every silly and beautiful moment. Thank you for being there.
