Jessica's Inspired: Art

From intern Jessica:

Art is described as something that is created with imagination and skill that is beautiful or that expresses important ideas or feelings. So for the artists types out there, we are going to subscribe to all five senses in this post by arousing your wedding senses.

A perfect setting for an artistically centered wedding would be a museum like The Museum of the City of New York. What better way to keep your guests entertained during cocktail hour than allowing them to enlighten themselves by wandering the third floor gallery? This could also work in your favor as it will allow you to extend the cocktail hour to allot more time for you to capture photos! You can never have too many photos...or enough time to take them!

Elevate your food with avante-garde hors d'oeuvres. You are sure to knock your guests off their feet with these personalized glasses filled with shrimp, calamari, and scallop ceviche topped with mango and toasted cumin seeds. Or try a modernized version of a classic-like orzo mac and cheese in a parmesan tuille. Talk about appealing to the sense of taste! I'll take one of each...Delish!

Bring art to life with fashion for you and your party! Amsale gowns like this architectural corseted wedding gown and printed attendant gowns are living, breathing art!

Go beyond the traditional photo booth for your favors. Hire a local artist like Bil Donovan to immortalize your guests with a portrait to take home because memories made at your wedding should last a lifetime.

Pick a wedding day scent! Yes, it is proven that scents invoke memories. Choose something subtle and implement it in candles or flowers. How about a warm vanilla scent?

Treat your guests of all generations to the titillating sounds of the Gerard Carelli Orchestra. Covering a variety of genres and offering a packages for all budgets, is what makes the Gerard Carelli Orchestra stand apart. Love them!

We have covered sight with museum art and couture gowns. Invoked scent with warm vanilla. Tickled the taste buds with avante-garde hors d'oeuvres. Covered the sense the touch with unique favors and aroused the sense of sound with a rockin' band. At the end of this wedding your guest's senses will be in overload!
