Strut Your Stuff

From Shekinah:

So the other week, I was looking at this little peacock figurine of my sister’s, and I immediately thought what a beautiful color palate that would be for a wedding! This is definitely inspiration for the fun, partying couple.

Westbury Manor would be a perfect venue (they actually have peacocks there). Colors are vibrant jewel tones; however, to keep it from looking like a circus, balance it with main linens and dishes in neutrals or metallics. Flowers are bright and tropical- dendrobium orchids are perfect for this, and add some charm to your tables with birdcages  filled with votives. Dress your bridesmaids in a peacock blue, and let the groomsmen have a pop of color with their tie choices. Lastly, the bride should strut her stuff in a textured tulle ballgown like the P’nina Tornai on the bottom with some playful touches like a fabulous pair of blue heels  or a colorful jeweled comb.
