Peach and Mint

As much as I love winter, this week my head was in Spring. Right about now, lush flowers and tea length dresses start looking especially appealing to me. So, I decided to cure my Spring Fever with an inspiration board that is a little bit of spring and a whole lot of pretty.

Peach, mint, and gold- romantic, warm, and airy all at the same time. Invitations are mint embossed with gold, sent in glitter envelopes. Flowers are lush and open- think cabbage roses, peonies, ranunculus- in gold vases. Splurge on sheer gold overlays and textured chargers, and continue your use of mint in the printed enus to balance the warmth of the peach and gold.

Other romantic touches to up the elegance factor are antique key escort card holders, a whitewashed birdcage for cards, and a variety of peach and mint desserts displayed on vintage white porcelain platters. In all honesty though- even though this is a nod to spring, these colors and details are so pretty they will be beautiful any time of the year.
