Fun and Funky Centerpieces: Kate's Inspired

From intern Kate:

Recently, Regina presented us interns with a planning project for a bride who didn’t want any flowers at her wedding. This got me thinking about centerpieces that wouldn’t involve any traditional floral arrangements and I decided to make a board out of it.

I began my search with fruit centerpieces. Fruit can be a bright and sweet alternative to floral centerpieces. Here, we have a display of green apples and a few examples of lemons and limes. Fruit centerpieces also go wonderfully when pair with flowers if you’re not ready to let go of the idea of flowers at your wedding just

Autumn and winter weddings allow you to explore more seasonal non-floral arrangements. These romantic birch-tree patterned candles give a rustic feel to your autumn or winter wedding. Cotton plants are a great alternative to the traditional flowers. They’re rustic, elegant, seasonal, and completely unexpected.

If you’re looking for an even more unpredictable way to decorate your tables, lanterns are romantic, rustic, and unique. You can pair them with moss and pretty stones to give your guests the feeling of a picnic. Paper lanterns work as a color (or monochromatic) option for warm weather weddings.

Finally, why not put a new twist on a classic party decoration, the balloon! Not only with this centerpiece surprise your guests, but balloons are a fraction of the cost!
