Chocolate: Kate's Inspired

From intern Kate:

Brown has always been a perplexing color for me. It’s the color of so many things I love; chocolate, coffee, my dog, and yet I could never find a way to incorporate it into my daily life without feeling like it was drab. So I made a wedding board out of it!

Adding color to your bridal look has caught on in the world of bridal fashion. If you’re not prepared to walk out in a fully colored gown, add color to your bridal look with a satin sash.

For your flowers, try dyed hydrangeas. Mixed with white and cream colored flowers, the brown with stand out as an elegant pop.

For your reception décor, adding gold details can be the key to turning brown from drab to fabulous. A clear vase with gold details and coordinating tea candle holders add a romantic ambiance to your reception tables. For linens, choose lighter, like this crinkled taffeta in Latte.

Your cake is typically the centerpiece of the room. Edible chocolate flowers and golden hand painted details make this cake into a piece of chocolate art.

Your favors should remind your guests of the wonderful night they had. Why not gift them a gift box filled with chocolates?
