Bling: Kate's Inspired

From intern Kate:
“Bling” is not generally a term I use to describe the things in my life. However, for a wedding, “bling” is one of the most important words you’ll ever know. For this week’s inspiration board I chose bling.

I started with the dress. For opulent, over the top, completely unique gowns, Pnina Tornai is the reigning queen. This particular dress is $15,400. For a more affordable form of blinged out luxury, check out Daniel Basso for Kelinfeld’s asymmetrical dropped waist gown for under $5,000. Your jewelry should be just as bright as your dress. These fabulous iridescent earrings from Swarovski are perfect for your flashy nuptials.

For your reception, the best bling can be in the details. These magnificent centerpieces are romantic, opulent, and a great way to wow your guests. Don’t be afraid to add bling to unexpected places, like diamond shaped tea light holders or crystals in the stem of your toasting flutes for added sparkle.

Typically, the cake will be the centerpiece of your reception. Why not bling it out? This amazing cake has crystals hanging from each layer as well as a crystallized monogram as a cake topper.

 I hope I didn’t blind you.
