1920's: Kate's Inspired

From intern Kate:

I have always been enamored with the idea of flappers and prohibition and the Gold Coast of Long Island’s North Shore. So I thought this week I would make a wedding out of it!

This phenomenal wedding dress is by one of my all time favorite bridal designers, Jenny Packham.  The silhouette and embellishments are very Great Gatsby. I found this great 1920’s inspired bridesmaid’s dress on UniqueVintage.com.  To complete your bridal look, try this 20’s styled tiara piece by Paris by Debra Moreland.

You invites should always reflect the general theme and look of your wedding. For a fabulous interpretation of 20’s décor and art, try these great invites by Lucky Luxe.

For centerpieces and flowers, I found these amazing antique styled books from WeddingStar. Hydrangeas are always a beautiful flower and give a sweet and romantic touch.  Patterned linens with antique inspired prints can help tie your reception look together. Finally, your cake can complete your vintage vibe. Peacock feathers and deep bold color accents are a great addition to your cake to give it an antique feel.
