Irish Eyes are Smiling: Beth's Inspired

From intern Beth:

My inspiration for this week came from my grandmother and I discussing Ireland. It is for a couple that wants a traditional Celtic, but unique wedding. Here are some traditional elements with a modern flair. The Bells of Ireland is the flower that most brides wear traditionally in a head wreath. This is a modern take using stems in glass bottles as centerpieces. The bride can also include them in her bouquet. Both the Claddagh wedding rings and the cake topper symbolize the love, loyalty and friendship of the couple. The toastingflutes bring together traditional natural elements and color of Ireland with flair. The invitation uses a bold green and Celtic pattern. However, the dress is the best piece of tradition. This vintage Edwardian gown has a gorgeous Celtic pattern and. Celtic wedding gowns were traditionally blue, as blue was the color of purity in medieval times. This gown, although white, used blue Irish influenced embroidery as an accent.
